طراحى فضاى انتظار مراكز درمانى: تأثير محيط و نحوه تعريف فضا بر ادراک كاربران

اين مقاله پاسخ به اين سؤال است كه، آيا چگونگى تعريف فضايى (متغير مستقل) مى تواند بر ارزيابى هاى ادراكى و ميزان رضايت كاربران از محيط (متغير وابسته) در يك فضاى پرازدحام تأثيرگذار باشد يا خير؟ تعريف فضايىِ خاص مطالعه شده در اين تحقيق، فضاى انتظار مراكز درمانى و ارتباط بين محورهاى سيركولاسيون و فضاى نشستن سالن انتظار است. فرضية تحقيق اين است كه كاربران در فضاهاى انتظارِ شلوغ، احساس راحتى و امنيت كمترى دارند. در اين تحقيق تبيين شده است كه چگونه در جايى كه مرزهاى تعريف شدة فضايىِ كمترى بين فعاليت ها هست (يعنى حالتى كه مردم از جهات مختلف عبور می كنند) اين اختلال بسيار بيشتر است و كاربران دريافت منفى ترى از فضا دارند. براى بررسى اين مسئله با روش تحقيق همبستگى، مطالعه در سالن انتظارِ بخش شيمى درمانى سه مركزدرمانى اصلى در شهر شيراز انجام شد: سالن انتظارِ بخش شيمى درمانى درمانگاه هاى امام رضا(ع)، مطهرى، و نمازى، كه از نظر ويژگى هاى محيطى، طراحى تقريباً مشابهى دارند، ولى ازنظر رابطة فضاى انتظار و محورهاى سيركولاسيون شرايط متفاوتى دارند. نتايج مطالعه روى 240 بيمار نشان داد كه در طراحى سالن هاى انتظار هرچه تفكيك و تعريف فضايى بين محورهاى سيركولاسيون و فضاى انتظار ضعيف تر صورت گرفته باشد، محيط از طرف استفاده كنندگان منفى تر و استرس زاتر درك مى شود. تأثير جنسيت نيز در انجام اين ارزيابى بررسى شد. از نظر ادراكى، فضا در ذهن هردو جنس (مؤنث، مذكر) تقريباً مشابه ترسيم شده بود.
